Behind the vision

As an Artist and Designer, BJ has straddled many facets of the Arts & Entertainment industry. He is proud to have been involved with the production side of Theatre, Opera, Television and Film as well as the Industrial and Convention markets from California to New York. After starting Lipari Designs, a small company dealing in interior consultations as well as commissioned artwork and finishes, BJ expanded to Scenic art and construction while in the Midwest which eventually led him to Las Vegas where for over fifteen years, he was recognized as one of the leading Scene Charges. In addition to his scenic work, he also was called on for Design and Concept works for a number of projects specific to the Las Vegas Strip. Prior to production work, BJ was a Performance artist and in his first incarnation, had performed over two decades and toured over twenty-five countries. In the nineties in New York City, he also worked in Textile and T-shirt design. He has taught Introduction to Murals, Mixed Media, Faux Finish as well as Art Therapy in the Midwest. He has exhibited his works nearly two dozen times in Europe and the United States. BJ is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy
